		<description>I use windows remote desktop which I find does the job nicely once you&#039;ve set it up properly, which isn&#039;t really that hard.

To bypass having to disable sleep or hibernate mode, I use a wake on lan program to send magic packets to that computer, which wakes it up from sleep. Some network cards even have the ability to be powered on in this way.

Comes in real handy if you have computers that arent where you are.</description>

		<description>I actually use Microsoft Live Mesh Beta.  Which also has a dropbox type file snyc&#039;er and gives 50Gb free storage space in the cloud.  It has a couple bugs since its still a beta, but otherwise, I find it incredibly useful.</description>
